ABOUT
Project MAY is a NYC-based Interior & Landscape Design studio dedicated to creating spaces that prioritize wellness, functionality, and timeless design.
Led by Lauren Talio, a design professional with a background in hospitality, operations, and real estate, Project MAY embodies her strategic approach to designing interiors and landscapes, emphasizing investment value and livability. With a deep understanding of historic properties, collectible furniture, and evolving market trends, Lauren and her team bring a discerning eye to every space.
Project MAY offers three core services: interior design, landscape design, and private sourcing.
We are passionate about how space, light, and flow impact daily life and communities. We use that knowledge to help clients make intentional choices about their spaces.
Our design philosophy emphasizes well-being. We integrate non-toxic materials and ergonomic principles to create environments that feel as good as they look. Our commitment to sustainability drives us to source rare, antique pieces that add character and lasting value to your home. For outdoor spaces, we specialize in native plantings and regenerative materials that complement both nature and architecture.
At Project MAY, the intention is for our projects to appreciate over time, with antiques gaining value and landscapes evolving with purpose.
